The International Curling Club hosts the Mid-Summer Mixed Bonspiel each August. Curlers from Alberta, British Columbia & Washington State travel to Osoyoos for this popular event.
While outside temperatures often soar to 40 degrees C or more the curlers stay cool in the confines of the curling rink. Besides curling the bonspielers compete in an annual slow pitch tournament, & a golf tournament. Other activities have included sampling wines at our local wineries.
Aside from curling & day sports, the curlers participate in the very active night life at the club. Costume parties, horse races & dancing into the early morning hours wind down the curlers day. If bonspielers find extra time they can also partake in the excellent golfing nearby, or just relax at one of the many local beaches.
