The face of our elite curlers across the country is changing with a surge of younger, stronger athletes who dedicate as much time to their fitness regimes as they do to their performance. For one local curler - it's 4! At a recent mixed curling event, two curlers went head to head in a draw to the button during the Hot Shots competition. In the end Wendee Copeland edged out Herb Wycherley by drawing to the button (and covering the pin) 4 consecutive times. Herb made three perfect draws before coming up short on his 4th attempt and settling for a baby turkey consolation prize. Well done!
